Ashley Bettridge is a business owner and long-time North Canterbury resident with more than 30 years' experience across technology, tourism, property, and agriculture.

Ashley spent a decade working in the telecommunications sector as an independent network installer, including serving as New Zealand Network Manager for PCDirect. He later owned and operated a motor camp before turning his focus to rural business and land management.

For the past 15 years, Ashley has owned, managed, and maintained a rural property and forestry block in North Canterbury. He also brings firsthand experience as a residential and commercial property owner and investor.

Standing in Waimakariri, Ashley brings a practical, solutions-focused perspective to ACT's vision for New Zealand. He is passionate about backing small businesses, reducing unnecessary regulation, and creating opportunities for rural communities to thrive.
