About
Malkiat Singh is a robotics engineer, entrepreneur, organic farmer, and Licensed Immigration Adviser with more than 20 years' experience across engineering, business, immigration, and agriculture. Born in Punjab, India, and having called New Zealand home since 2006, Malkiat brings both an entrepreneurial and immigrant perspective to the challenges and opportunities facing New Zealand.
Malkiat is the founder of Kings Eat Organics, a BioGro-certified organic farm and food business in Papakura, and Carmento Immigration, which has supported migrants and employers across New Zealand since 2009. Throughout his career, he has worked across engineering, technology, and large-scale business transformation projects, helping organisations improve performance and solve complex problems.
A former Vice Chair of the Licensed Immigration Advisers Association, Malkiat has also successfully advocated for policy change through petitions to Parliament on issues affecting New Zealand families and migrants.
Standing in Papakura, Malkiat is passionate about economic growth, innovation, productive immigration settings, and creating opportunities for people and businesses to thrive.
