Paul Henry is one of New Zealand’s best-known broadcasters, with a career spanning television, radio, journalism, current affairs, and entertainment. He has also worked in broadcasting overseas, established and sold his own radio station, and served on the board of TVNZ.

After decades spent interviewing New Zealanders and watching successive governments grapple with the country’s challenges, Paul decided that talking was no longer enough. He joined ACT because he believes New Zealand has enormous potential but is being held back by an economy that is too small, a bureaucracy that is too large, and a political culture that too often settles for mediocrity. Paul brings a lifetime of communication experience, an instinct for challenging conventional thinking, and a determination to help build a more prosperous, ambitious, and confident New Zealand.
