Sean Beamish is a maintenance engineer with more than 20 years' experience in the resources sector, specialising in asset management, reliability, and maintenance strategy.

Sean currently works as an independent consultant, providing specialist advice on asset reliability, risk management, maintenance economics, and operational performance. Previously, he held senior leadership and management roles with multinational companies across Australia, Canada, Papua New Guinea, and Africa.

Born in the Catlins and with strong ties to Central Otago, Sean brings a practical, long-term perspective to ACT's vision for New Zealand. Standing in Southland, he is passionate about improving productivity, reducing unnecessary regulation, strengthening accountability, and giving New Zealanders greater freedom to get ahead.
